Before you work out

LiftStyle provides general fitness guidance. It is not a medical device and does not assess health, technique, space, or equipment live.

  • If you have a medical condition or injury, are pregnant, receive treatment, have symptoms, or are returning after a long break, first seek advice from a healthcare professional.
  • For new or technical exercises or significant loads, ask a personal trainer to check them; use direct supervision when the risk or your abilities require it.
  • Check the surroundings and equipment. Stop if you experience acute pain, chest pain, dizziness, fainting, sudden weakness, or unusual shortness of breath.
  • Images, animations, names, and descriptions are general guidance: they may be simplified, incomplete, outdated, or contain errors and do not replace a live demonstration.

Purpose of the service

LiftStyle helps organize workouts based on the information you provide. It does not replace an individual assessment by a doctor, physiotherapist, or qualified personal trainer.

LiftStyle is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, disease prevention or monitoring, or medical prescriptions.

Images, animations, exercise names, and descriptions are illustrative and general material. They may be simplified, incomplete, outdated, or contain errors; they may not show every phase, variation, equipment setup, breathing technique, range of motion suitable for you, or every precaution. They do not check your execution and do not replace manufacturer instructions, an individual assessment, or a live demonstration by a qualified professional.

Limits of the automatic plan

The plan and its descriptions may contain errors, simplifications, omissions, or unsuitable suggestions. The plan cannot see your posture, check your execution, or know everything that may affect safety. Incomplete or outdated information may produce unsuitable suggestions. No plan guarantees results or freedom from injury.

Health, fitness to exercise, and medical certificate

Before starting or changing a program, discuss your condition with a healthcare professional if you have a medical condition or injury, are pregnant, receive treatment, have symptoms or clinical concerns, or are returning after a long break.

You must have a valid medical certificate if required by law, the gym, the sports association, the event, or the activity you take part in. LiftStyle does not verify or confirm your fitness to participate.

Technique and supervision

For a new, technical, complex exercise or significant load, have the technique taught to you and ask a qualified personal trainer to check the exercise, equipment, and load. Direct supervision is necessary only when warranted by the risk, complexity, equipment, or individual abilities. If you do not feel safe, do not perform the exercise.

A trainer's technical check does not replace advice from a healthcare professional where health conditions or symptoms are present.

Space, equipment, and loads

Use a clear, stable space and floor, intact and suitable equipment, correctly positioned safety devices, and a prudent load. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and do not train if your attention, balance, or control is impaired.

When to stop and seek help

Stop immediately if you experience sharp pain, chest pain, dizziness, fainting, loss of control, unusual weakness, or abnormal breathing difficulty. Do not resume until it is safe to do so. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

Reporting incidents and risks

Report any potentially dangerous exercise, instruction, error, or incident to hello@liftstyle.app without delay. In an emergency, contact local emergency services first.
