LiftStyle uses local storage for data, language, preferences and sessions. Optional statistics require a choice before sending. The website uses no Meta Pixel or advertising cookies; native app ad measurement is described separately.
What we use today
- local storage for language, settings, plans and app state;
- session storage for temporary session states;
- IndexedDB for local technical data and browser-side backup copies.
You can use LiftStyle without sharing statistics, technical reports or ad measurement. The three choices are separate, off by default and available in Settings. They apply to this browser or device, independently of your account and cloud sync. Ad measurement is available only in enabled native apps.
Optional measurement
This section describes measurement available in Settings in the version you use. If a feature is unavailable or has not been enabled for that version, its sends remain disabled, even with a saved preference. Aggregate statistics from earlier versions are described separately below.
The browser stores your choices about statistics and technical reports locally, including refusal, to respect them on later visits. Only if you enable statistics does liftstyle.measurement.v1 also contain random codes and a queue of pending events, kept for no more than 72 hours. This analytical use of storage is optional. Withdrawing consent clears the queue and stops new sends. Previous codes remain on the device until you erase local data, so you can request deletion of remote history. The code changes after 90 days; this does not delete events already sent. This integration installs no PostHog cookies and uses no advertising cookies or session recordings. Provider retention periods are described separately in the Privacy Policy.
How you can manage preferences
You can delete local data from your browser or use the in-app reset to remove information saved on the device.
You can also use your browser settings to block or delete cookies and similar technologies.
Technical providers
Hosting and security providers may process IP address, user agent, date and request time for technical and security reasons.
Updates
This policy will be updated before any new measurement or marketing tools are activated.
